Hosted by STAMP – Students Taking Action forMedicine and Peace, as part of We are Peace, STAMP’s campaign for peace in the community
Theme : Peace, in our community and abroad
This contest gives freedom to the photographer – amateur or experienced – to express what peace means to him or her. Although We are Peace was inspired by a desire to address Palestinian-Israeli peace at the community level, any depiction of peace is welcome. Photos might depict unexpected friendships, conflict resolution, or neighbourhood, to name but a few ideas. Photos focusing on people are suggested. Photos can be of urban or rural environments, from your home town or from a faraway place. Originality and profoundness will serve as part of the judging criteria for the selection of winning pictures.
